Jade Plant

Jade plants thrive in bright, indirect sunlight. Aim for at least 6 hours of sunlight per day, but avoid direct, scorching rays which can burn the leaves.

Water thoroughly only when the soil is completely dry to the touch. Overwatering is a common killer, so allow the soil to dry out significantly between waterings – typically every 2-4 weeks, depending on the environment.

Jade plants prefer dry air and are not particularly sensitive to humidity. Average household temperatures (65-75°F or 18-24°C) are ideal, and high humidity can lead to root rot.

Rotate your jade plant regularly to ensure even growth. Dust the leaves occasionally to allow for optimal photosynthesis. To encourage bushier growth, prune lightly after flowering, removing the oldest stems near the base.
