Everbearing Strawberry

Everbearing strawberries need at least 6-8 hours of direct sunlight per day to thrive and produce abundant fruit. They can tolerate some afternoon shade, especially in hotter climates.

Water deeply and consistently, aiming for about 1-2 inches of water per week. Allow the top inch of soil to dry out between waterings to prevent root rot.

Everbearing strawberries prefer moderate humidity levels, ideally between 50-70%. Maintain a temperature range of 65-80°F (18-27°C) for optimal growth and fruiting.

To encourage continuous harvests, pinch off flower buds after the initial fruiting period to direct energy into developing more berries. Regularly remove runners to prevent the plant from spreading excessively and to focus its energy on fruit production. Fertilize every 4-6 weeks with a balanced fertilizer during the growing season to ensure healthy growth and abundant yields.
